Code Talker is a good book but I think there could have been many improvements. The cover just seems too boring and the title needed to be something else. Although I can't think of a different title `Code Talker' just sounds old. But don't let the boring cover and old title stop you from reading it because it is a good book.
The get away. That wasn't an option. I swerved into the side of him knocking him into the oncoming traffic. That only left two. They were on either side of me I had no where to go. I saw them slowly turn in towards me. I did the first thing that came to my mind. Brake. The tyres squealed as I slammed my foot down. The two cop cars smashed into each other causing one to fall on to his side and another to crash into a nearby telephone pole. I took the chance of escape and sped through the traffic to get away and out of the city.
The ChaseI didn't know where he had gone. Neither did Jack. He spoke into his mic and said `we have lost a visual.'
He ran off into the distance. I was too tired to run any more. We had been chasing him all afternoon and I finally gave up. I heard something around the corner. I pulled my gun out of its holster and held it up. I looked down my arm, my finger not on the trigger but ready to be put there. I slowly peeked around the corner to see if it was him. It was. He was facing the other way when I looked around so I pulled my head back before he turned around. He was holding an MP5 with a pistol in his waist band. I put my finger into the trigger guard ready to shoot if I had to. I turned the corner quickly yelling `drop the gun now, get on the floor,'
He turned around firing wildly. I had shoot him or be shot. I pulled the trigger and watched him fall to the ground. He wasn't dead but he definitely wouldn't be getting up any time soon. I ran over and kicked the guns away. Jack had heard the shots and had hurried to the scene. He placed the cuffs around his wrists and called the ambulance.
